Hi guys. I have just finished my pc and it all works fine... until i add my storage drive. im currently storing my operating system on an ssd for faster booting and was going to use my old hard drive for usual storage, however it is causing lots of problems like freezing and corrupting the ssd. I quickly removed it and researched about the problem. I think i need to make it a slave drive but it still has an operating system on. Do i need to get rid of that and if so how do i remove it without hooking it up and risking corruption again.
Update: i dont have ownership of the drive and when i try to gain ownership it gets stuck on the "changing ownership of" box. anyone know a fix?
