Hey guys,
I was away from my PC over winter break, however, when I returned, my graphics card stopped outputting video. After a few hours messing around with bios, taking it out and putting it back in, and updating my computer, it completely randomly started to work again. However, now it is randomly not outputting signal for fluctuating periods of time. Sometimes slight things instigate it (a slight movement of the PC tower,) and others it just decides to shut off with no apparent cause. I've tried almost everything and am at the end of my rope. Random things have seemed to get it working with seemingly little relation (disabling Intel graphics, slapping the tower, restarting computer, taking g. card out, etc.) The card turns on, and is FANTASTIC when it is running. It just stops outputting anything at random. I tried switching HDMI cords, tried using different monitors, all to no avail. The computer display recognizes something is plugged in (if I remove the HDMI from my computer, it will say 'cord not connected' vs. 'no signal'.) The motherboard works perfectly with every other feature. Took the card out and nothing seems to be wrong with the connection to the motherboard, and the HDMI jack seems perfect as well. When I plug the HDMI into my motherboard, it usually works fine. The only time it didn't is when I disabled the intel card, which was fixed by taking out and putting back in the CMOS battery. However, I can't use the Graphics card when plugged directly into the mobo. Even after 10 hours of tinkering, still no luck. I have tried everything. So goddamn depressed and exhausted. Not sure what to do now. Can't run any AMD or MSI app--ran DDU about 3 times, but still not sure if drivers are properly installed. Every time I try to run AMD's autodetect driver installer, it's saying it's incompatible with my system (maybe it's caused by not detecting the card...? I dunno.) When I go into Device Manager with my AMD card plugged in but intel running, it shows no AMD drivers. Is there a way I can manually install them?

What could be causing this? My computer has never faced this issue before, and NOBODY would have touched it in my absence. Thanks for the help in advance!

I've recently suffered a similar issue and I'm waiting for a response.

When I updated the drivers for the cards it seemed to detect the second monitor so I'm not too sure what's going on if that also happened to you?

As its been some time since the original post have you found a solution?
