Bluetooth transmitter not pairing?

Hi all

Recently bought a Bluetooth transmitter device from Amazon, as well as a USB Bluetooth Nano Stick.

My idea was, to connect the transmitter to my amp (that's years old), and plug the USB Bluetooth Nano Stick into my computer. This would mean I could pair my computer without the need for wires to my amp.

The Bluetooth Nano Stick works fine (I believe) however when trying to pair, the Bluetooth transmitter is not being shown. Neither is it being shown on my phone.

What should I be doing?

Is the transmitter receiver in receiver mode? Do you have to have it in pairing mode?

That's it. I had it in transmitter mode!

For anyone else having trouble, make sure the device is in receiver or RX mode!!
