I am not able to get a display on my monitor but everything is plugged in and I have tried both the mother board's and graphics card HDMI port. My whole computer is on and all of the fans spin and the graphics card lights up but on my monitor it says that I have no signal in the input.
Specs:
ASUS H81-A (Mother board)
Corsair 750 cx (PSU)
Intel I7-4790 @3.6GHZ
8 GB of mushkin 1600 frequency ram
EVGA 1070 Super clocked

ok, that work well enough. (I was meaning if you hooked up a DVD player or laptop up to the monitor, but this works too.) it definitely means there is an issue with your computer, and if both display outputs don't work, it is most likely your motherboard or power supply. If it is not giving you a beep or diagnostic code, I'd say 90% certain the motherboard.

I thought the power supply would be good enough but it was weird when I tried it yesterday I turned in on and off a few times moved a cable and it worked until I tried to install my ssd. And know it will only power on and have the fans spin and the graphics card on but still says no output. So I was wondering do you think that it would be a short in the motherboard by chance or something like that?
