External Seagate out of case. USB physicalky broken -Can I plug this into the ribbon connectors ( name?) Seagate 500 GB. Will plugging it in endanger the data. What is the best method? Lots of backup on drive. Reply in fairly none too techy terms please. Thanks in advance, tom
