I just installed a SSD and moved my old HDD to the D drive. I directed Steam to install all game downloads to the D drive now. However, i noticed the Saved Game info folder is being saved by default to my Documents folder on my C drive.

At first the file was saving only to Documents on OneDrive until I went to the OneDrive settings and changed it to save documents to computer only.

So my question is, should I redirect the Save Games folders for my games to my D drive somehow? They aren't very big files, so I'm not worried about space, like I would be if I downloaded the entire game to the C drive.

Thanks!

And if your concern is about write cycles to the SSD, put that out of your mind. Zero impact on the drive lifespan.

Sounds like the file size just isn't worth worrying about.

But for games that don't sync to steam cloud, I'll have to remember to transfer that games folder on the c drive if I ever move to a new PC
