Hello there!

Im in need of urgent help :(...

Pc upgraded from X4 CPU to X6 1090T BE.. Now the problem is that the core speed stays at 800 mhz while doing anything.. Playing games causes me lag.. It just works when i do multiply x15 and im getting 3ghz easy and i can play games but the core speed stays on 3000 without doing anything..

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T BE 6core
Motherboard: Asrock N68 s3 UCC

May someone help me out how to get rid of 800 mhz? So it will work normally...

Thanks

You need to check your BIOS version to make sure you have the latest one installed. Phenom X6 support was added after the original board release date and while the mobo was listed as x6 ready, that only meant that it would be robust enough to handle the x6 CPU power draw. The original BIOS did NOT support the x6 CPU, and it was added later on.

You need to make sure your BIOS revision number is P1.40 to guarantee support for your x6 CPU.
