Help picking a new Z270 Mother board.

Looking to upgrade the motherboard that is in my signature because it died and don't want to wait for RMA.

I plan to overclock to 4.3ghz again.

Choice that I like.

Any reason to go with one over another for what I will be doing? is the Maximus a waste of $50 more

Basically it has all the features of the other two boards and cheaper than both. Unless you wanna pay $100 more for cmos and power switch.

Well, looks was not mentioned in your initial post.
Then you have pretty much everything compared between the rest of the two.
The Code has...
> 2 additional usb 3/3.1 slots
> Integrated wireless/blutooth
> More fan connectors
> Couple of on board switches

Take your pick.

What I don't get is I don't see a usb 3.0 header on the Code

I think they are there towards the bottom. Also if its in the specs, they must be there.

From the review of the both Motherboard you mention, I think second one looks better than first from the review. Its ROG Lighting is good. Also, No external controller needed. It's not a waste of $50, but you are getting more commitment of quality in second one.

Its not a waste if you have the budget. Makes it an all around deal.
