I just bought a evga gtx 1070 today, but after installing it I get no display. I was using a gtx 760 earlier today and the same wires, so they aren't the problem. I installed the gpu in the only spot on my motherboard, an ASUS 81m-d/e. I also installed new RAM too, going from x2 4gb to x2 8gb. All of these are properly in place but I still get no display. My main monitor is connected via hdmi but I cannot connect my second one to it as it's about 9 years old and only has a vga input. I have tried to connect both monitors to the mobo, but there is still no display. Additionally, the gpu has become stuck in the mobo so I cannot take it out to put back in my old gpu. Then to make matters worse, since I can't get any display, I cannot access BIOS. And yes both my monitors are turned on. I desperately need help please!
