Hello... So a few weeks ago I was gaming on my PC and noticed my ping was going from 130-300 when it is normally 60 or below that. I tried rebooting the router multiple times, and took every other device off of the wifi to make sure there is no traffic issues. Nothing changed, as I have 100 down and 10 up speed and can handle a couple devices. I then thought maybe it was malaware, I ran malawarebytes and there was nothing. I also tried deleting all of my temp files, nothing worked. What's weird is that, my internet results are amazing on speedtest.net , where my ping is never above 40. But when I test through google speedtest or any other site the ping is high even when testing to the nearest server. However the weirdest thing, is that it only occurs during the night. There is so many things that make this really weird, and I'm not sure what to do because my ISP has come to my house twice and said both times that nothing was wrong.

Where are you seeing a high ping rate...a actual ping or the number some game tells you. You can not always trust games because most are doing something different than ping to measure the latency. It is actually a better number that represents game performance between the game client and the game server but it affected by things other than network. It is also not done the same way between all games.

What you want to do is use the actual ping command from a CMD window. Ping a common ip address like 8.8.8.8. Best would be to do this ping from another device while the game is complaining to see if you have a actual network issue or it is something related to the game. Make sure you test everything connected via ethernet wireless causes massive issues for games.
