Best Modem for PC GAMING?

Hi, I just wanted to ask that:

1. What modem is best for PC Gaming and Normal everyday use (Social Media, Youtube etc) for a medium - Large house? Something under $300 - $400 AUD would be nice.

2. What deal / bundle should I be looking at?

3. What modem are you people using now? (Just out of interest)

(Note that I don't have NBN)

ISP is the provider yes
ADSL or +2 is the way the signal is brought to your house (for example I have Cable at my house not ADSL)
it make a differences because of the "type" of modem you use (adsl Modem doesn't work on Cable and vice versa)
but that has little bearing on what manages the network of your household , that's the router's job, the modem only connects your house to the ISP.

I asked about your ISP because not all ISP accept retail Modems and they have suggested models to use to connect to them.
as for the house "router" you can get anything you like that has no bearing on how you connect to the ISP, but more on the number of devices, (Tv, tablets, phones, computers (wired with Ethernet or Wi-Fi) all those are what defines...

1. what IPS are you using, Modems usually have to be vetted by ISP to be compatible with their system
2. then you will need a Router and the size of the router is less important with the design of your house, 1, 2 floors? how many square feet per floor ?

I use a SB6190 Cable Modem with a Asus R6 X8000 Router, in a 975 Ft Home with ISP providing 100Mb/s Down, 10 Mb/s Up.

I'm assuming you mean the Internet Service Provider which mine is TPG..

As for the square feet which I don't know how to calculate.. This is an identical house plan you could take a look at..

Most likely I think.. ADSL stands for asymmetric digital subscriber line. There are two 'versions,' ADSL and ADSL2+. TPG is my internet service provider.. I am not fully sure if your understanding of ISP (I'm assuming you're in America) is the same as mine. Could be different meaning.. but i'm 90% sure that adsl is isp.
