Trying to find ram that will work with my MotherBoard/OS And CPU

I was looking to upgrade my ram but I can't find the same model of Hyper Blu Ram that I have so would using other brands be a problem? Possible Ram sticks I could buy?

CPU - Intel i7 4770k
GPU - Nvidia GTX 1070 ASUS DUAL Cx
Hard Drives - 1TB WD Drives x2 + SanDisk SSD 116GB.
Motherboard - AsusTek Z87-A
Ram - Hyper X Blu DDR3 4GB x2
OS - Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Either has advantages and disadvantages. Adding 2x4 would be cheaper and getting new 2x8 (specially if it's in a kit) would be somewhat safer. You could even try to just ad 2x8 to existing set.
