So I had an evga hybrid 980ti for a year and a half and I just bought a amp 980ti to sli. The zotac is in the second pci slot and I have the DisplayPort cord plugged into the hybrid card in the first slot. At full load, the zotac runs at 81 degrees and and at a constant 99% usage. The hybrid runs at 46 degrees (down from 54 degrees by itself) and the max usage is 99 but it fluctuates slightly. I'm using a custom fan curve in main afterburner and the zotac is at like 80% fan speed when it's at 81 degrees. So my guess is that the Pnc is using the zotac as the primary gpu( even though it's in the second pci slot and is labeled gpu2) and even then, 81 degrees is hot as a sumbitch with the fans ramped up to the 80% mark. Help would be appreciated because I'm a nervous wreck right now. My CPU is a 4790k on a Asia Maximus 7 hero Z97. Also I should mention that on the motherboard, the 2nd pcie slot is paint red while the others are black. Idk if the hero has it set up as it using that slot as the main when you sli?
