Ive been using quite a bottleneck setup for a while and am looking to upgrade, here is my current specs;
AMD A8 7650k @ 4.2 Ghz (Stock cooler)
16 GB of DDR3 Ram @ 1600 mhz
1tb HDD
600w EVGA PSU 80 + Rated
MSI Factory overclocked GTX 1060 3GB
Don't know the motherboard.

Anyway, I've found an i5 4670k and motherboard with some cpu cooler, it isnt stock, for £250, is it worth it to buy it? and how much of a performance increase am I likely to get?

I would like to know roughly how much better the performance will be in games and productive activities like;

Grand Theft Auto 5
Just Cause 3
Call of Duty Black ops 3
Photoshop, Rendering times in things like Cinema 4D Photoshop and After Effects, minimal Premiere pro stuff.

To conclude, I want to know how much better my performance will be if I were to upgrade to a 4670k, and if it is worth it to buy all 3 for £250

Solution
Ok, I'll stop recommending a i7.

AMD A8 specs - https://www.cnet.com/products/amd-a8-series-a8-7650k-3-3-ghz-processor/specs/

i5 4670K specs - http://ark.intel.com/products/75048/Intel-Core-i5-4670K-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

Since you don't rely on integrated, You'll get performance boosts in pretty much everything. A8 and A10 are mostly meant for laptops which can't have a dedicated GPU.

I'd say it's worth the upgrade. It's just simply better.

No I'm not asking for what will improve my frames, I've basically chose, I don't need suggestions on getting an I7, an I7 would show minimal performance increase from the I5 I'm planning on getting because the I7 isn't just for gaming, an I5 is more than enough and could handle the 1080, geofelt, has seen what Ive written and it is helpful, as he is answering my question :)

Geofelt how much real world performance increase would I expect to get?

Okay, Ive now bought the I5 4670k, and with a motherboard, and an ARCTIC Freezer i11, all for 230, is that a good deal, and also, how much do you think id be able to overclock the cpu, as I guess it would be worth it, the motherboard is a Gigabyte Z97P - D3. How much fps do you expect ill see in GTA 5 with this and a 1060 3gb slightly overclocked

That's a great deal, but I don't recommend overclocking a GPU. Yeah, You'll get more fps but it will heat up alot more. I'd only recommend overclocking a GPU if you are getting bad fps or you wanna do some serious 4k gameplay. Over than that overclocking a GPU just isn't worth it.

I was expecting you to get a much worse CPU fan but that one is actually pretty solid: https://us.hardware.info/reviews/6663/arctic-freezer-i11-and-i32-cpu-coolers-review-cool-coolers
