Essentially I can be playing a match of Overwatch or a game on Steam, and after a while both of my monitors will go black and show no input.
- This has happened about 7-8 times over the past few days.
- During some of these crashes, the sound cuts out, but during other crashes it keeps playing.
- I am not sure if the computer is still responding to keyboard commands because I can't see what's happening.
The Windows event viewer shows the following:
As you can see, it's consistently the same error (Kernal-Power event ID 41).
My instincts are telling me this is a graphics card, power supply, or power distribution issue, but I am not savvy enough to confirm/diagnose. Anyone have any ideas?
I recently upgraded my video card and my ram, so that could be the source, but I haven't seen any temperature issues and my power supply should be able to handle the loads...
Processor: Intel i7 3770k
Motherboard: Intel DZ77GA-70K
Video card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming
RAM: G.SKILL Ares Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 2133
Power Supply: Cooler Master RS-750-ACAA-D3 750W Bronze Plus
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
