Believe me, once you use a ssd for windows, you will never build again without one.
A SSD lets you open files instantly.
Game checkpoints get done faster.
Textures get loaded quicker.
Virus scans are faster.

At the very least, plan on a 240gb ssd for your C drive.

If you don't have that much programs and games, get a 500gb one. If you use a lot of space, you might wanna save for a 1tb. Put all your programs and your os on your ssd so everything runs faster. Everything else on hard drive. I never actually had an ssd before so I don't really know which brands to get, although kingston is always the cheapest.

Today, I would only buy Samsung evo.

Take a look at the utilization of your hard drive.
If your new ssd will hold the contents, you have an easy migration using the free Samsung ssd migration app.
You can, if necessary exclude from the migration large folders such as video files if you need to.

240gb may well work for you. It is the minimum I would buy.
It will hold the os and a fair number of games.

But, SSD prices are down so I would look for 500gb or possibly 1tb.
Plan on repurposing your hard drive for bulk storage and backups.

Ok so some help for you.

When it comes to buying a SSD drive for the first time if you have never used or had one.
How much you pay reflects on the performance of the drive.

Due to the quality and speeds a Samsung 850 SSD drive gives you in read and write speeds with what we call a good high IOPS speed they are highly recommended as well as reliable with less failure rates Bigjohnny.

Where as a cheaper based SSD drive with often have a decent read speed but can have a lower write speed.

At a starting point, as stated it really depends on what you do with your computer, if it is more than just playing games and using such things on it as video editing, or any kind of 3D rendering software or other things.

Or your happy to have just a few of your fave games installed on the SSD drive.

Then buying a 250GB or a 240 GB SSD drive is a good place to start.
Using a larger mechanical based drive for extra and larger storage space.

If your pockets reach deep enough to opt for a 500 GB to a 1Tb SSD drive then do so based on a long hard think of what you will be using the drive for mostly.

That`s about as much as I would say, it really is down to personal preferences.
And how you use your system for what, and the most of.

i will be using it for games but im getting second thoughts about getting it(SSD) because i know the SSD ONLY affects the loading time on games thats it(for games). But ive been told games like Fallout 4 and Batman Arkham Knight suffer from stuttering due to slow storage which is the only reason im getting the SSD.

That is a function of your internet connection, not the drive.

From those 2, the SanDisk. I have a thing against that particular Kingston line.

But why only those two?

because its a little bit cheaper than the Samsung EVO 240gb SSD

Two things you do not want to go cheap on.
A PSU and a SSD.

Intel and Samsung make their own nand chips and controllers.
They are better able to control quality and test out the functioning.
I think they keep the better quality chips for themselves and sell the rest to others who assemble ssd devices from the cheapest available parts.

You should note that the Samsung 850 EVO has a 5 year warranty while the Kingston and sandisk have only 3 years.

^ warranties wouldn't really bother me in all honesty.
The ssd plus is an OK drive , the Kingston is p**s poor.

What actual country are you ?? There are other options that are the same price or cheaper generally.
Adata make a very good budget drive for one, & I still personally like the crucial mx300 275gb when its at the right price

I just want to address a few of your questions real quick. I purchased a 500gb Sandisk SSD, and have been very happy with it. It won't increase your download speed, but it will increase your patching speed. I don't know what games you play, but for certain games, this can be very useful. For example, Ark will sometimes release a 250mb update that takes less than a minute to download. However, that update goes into the game file and messes with (for example) 9 gigabytes worth of game data. This takes forever with a legacy drive, and you will see significantly higher speeds with the SSD.

People give conflicting information as to whether or not gameplay is affected by an SSD, but I can tell you personally that I experienced a performance boost in a select few games. The main one I use as an example, is Just Cause 3. This is a high graphic open world game if you aren't familiar with the series, and it requires a huge amount of rendering. With my old legacy drive, I encountered smooth frame rates, but occasional stuttering. I don't get that with the SSD.

As for what particular SSD you should buy, I would first recommend a Samsung 850 evo. If you can't afford that, my next suggestion would be to just hunt for a deal on a reputable brand. If you've narrowed it down to the two drives you mentioned earlier, I would go with the Sandisk. Like I said, I have the Sandisk Ultra and I'm very happy with it.
