Hi,

I just got my computer fixed by Dell and it came with a cheaper keyboard than I had before and the wifi doesn't work when it came. But thats not the problem. I connected to wifi through an ethernet cable so I can use the internet temporarily until they fix my laptop again. I just recieved my laptop yesterday from Dell. After Attempting to contact them for an hour, we got someone that tried to fix my wifi problem. 5 hours later and even the Dell technician couldn't fix the issue. So I dealt with the wifi problem by connecting an ethernet cable and started to do my stuff on the laptop. Everything was fine. I went to sleep, woke up the next day, and the laptop was much slower than the day before. I don't know what had happened between the 8 hours i had went to sleep but the laptop has been much slower than it was. If anyone could solve my slowness problem that would be great. I'm pretty sure anyone would be able to solve the wifi problem as the Dell technician took control of my computer and tried to solve the problem for 5 hours and did not succeed. Sorry for writing so much but this is basically my problem. I'm very stressed out because my laptop has been broken for 4 months and after sending it to Dell, it came in not working condition.

Thank you in advance,
Dajjer

Solution
Computer been restarted since it became slow? My Dell has severely thermal throttled at times in the past and the whole thing came to a crawl.

Dell laptops often have a little panel in the bottom for the Wifi card. Remove that slot and make sure the WiFi card is fully seated and that the 1-2 antenna cables are actually connected to the pins on the card.
