I need some help, I just realized the mistake I've made through some research I've made and self experience, since im a newbie in this kind of stuff i would like to have some help and opinions from you guys.

My Rig:
CPU: AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz 16MB BOX SKAM3+
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X
Motherboard: Asrock 990fx Extreme3
GPU: MSI R9 380 4GB
RAM: 2x G.Skill DDR3 1600Mhz 4gb (8gb total)

Well as everyone knows this is the worst combo everyone could get since the VRM is poor and has a 4+1 power phase, i don't understand much, but everyone says it's really bad... So here's the deal, currently i don't have money to upgrade to a new motherboard yet i would like to "stabilize" the machine for a couple of months while gaming on it.

I've done some research and found somewhat called the "solution" for this problem, which was to disable these options on the motherboard BIOS:

"AMD Turbo Core Technology" ;
"AMD Application Power Management" ;
"Enhanced Halt State (c1e)" ;
"Core C6 Mode".

And I've also underclocked my CPU to x18 multiplier 3600Mhz and shutdowned 2 cores of my cpu (currently using 6 cores) as you can see in these pic's:

This being said I've checked the temperatures of the cpu on AMD Overdrive (which was the most recomended program for AMD CPU temperatures for more precise results) aswell as the motherboard BIOS and they seem stabilized given the circumstances as you can see on these pic's:

PS: Same deal with the gpu, the temperatures sit around 30ºC when idle , 50-60ºC while gaming..

With that being applied and done, here's where the stuff get's really odd and weird... This is where I need help from you guys!!

I was expecting to affect the performance on gaming but not this much, I've tested on three games only, them being: Need For Speed (2015), League of Legends and CS:GO which are the games that I play the most.

Where I'm getting the following fps:

Need for Speed (2015) "Ultra Settings" - getting around 40-60 fps sometimes getting drops to around 20-30 fps but not that often just sometimes.

League of Legends "Medium High settings" - fps are really unstable, sometimes they're on 160 fps and sometimes on 80-100 dropping even more to around 60-80 fps and getting back up (won't matter if i change to the lowest settings it keeps being unstable and i get the same exact fps which is surprising for me o_O)

CS:GO "Lowest Settings possible (which is by option i always played with the lowest settings and streched 4:3 screen) with native resolution because i can't put my old res (1920x1080) " - Same deal as League of Legends, they're really unstable, could be at 160 fps dropping and getting back up, but never more then 200 fps getting drops to around 80 fps...

One more thing on start up my pc sometimes freezes in my desktop for a bit and never freezes again o_O

So is this considered "normal" given the circumstances?
What can i do to improve the performance?
Do i need to change something else?
And for last, please name some recommended and most cheap motherboards you can find for my computer, i appreciate any help you guys can give!!

Cheers.

AMD FX CPUs support 1866MHz memory with one DIMM per channel.
AMD FX CPUs support 1600MHz with two DIMMs per channel.
Asrock 990fx Extreme3 is a dual channel memory motherboard.

I would suggest you try using the proper hardware and removing the 1333MHz memory.
The motherboard does not offer XMP memory settings. You may need to manually set the Memory Clock, DRAM Timings and DRAM voltage depending on the memory you use. You might want to try a matched pair of Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB Kit (2x4GB) 1866MHz DDR3.

OMG I'm so sorry, I've copypasted the wrong DDR's they are 1600Mhz* I'll edit it, do I need to change the RAM still?

Estimable
Your CPU is bottlenecking your graphics card if you are getting frame rate drops like that. The sad part is with those AM3+ motherboards a lot of them are so god-awful that you can't overclock them heavily without blowing up the VRMs on them which helps with problems like this. Resolution and even installing a 1080 Ti would not help you, you need more CPU power to stop those drops from happening.

Revert your underclocks to start and then play and enable all cores. Forget about temps. If you get crashes on stock settings then go from there. Underclocking is the opposite of what to do if want framerates to be good.

A clean install may help clear out any software related problems. You could look through your resource monitor to see if you have any applications taking up a lot of CPU or RAM if you want a less nuclear option.
