Im new to building pcs and im building a gaming pc, ive chosen the parts but i dont know how many watts this needs , for the power supply , should i go with the EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GdN9RG

Solution
1) you only need 500w. good choice on the psu. just pick the same model in a lower wattage like 550w and save some money.
2) you dont need any thermal paste. the hyper 212 evo comes with plenty. in fact, you dont need the 212 evo either. the i5-6500 comes with a cooler with pre applied thermal paste. you could save money there.
3) you dont need such a high end board. an h170 is a better fit.

rest looks good.

Solution
on the pc part pick list top right you see the power consumption, so anything in the 450-550w of quality will be good
why double the requirement, it is a rule of thumb to peek your PSU running at 50-75% of Max Wattage

Note: Wattages are estimates only. Actual power draw may differ from listed values.
Component Estimated Wattage
Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor 8W - 65W
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler 5W - 10W
MSI Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard 17W - 70W
G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory 11W - 11W
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive 4W - 20W
MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Video Card 18W - 75W
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Zx 24-bit 192 KHz Sound Card 5W - 10W
Total: 68W - 261W
