i got a new PSU today, a 800w tacens valevo v, and i decided to test my overclocked cpu (4,5ghz i7 6700k) and i saw that my voltage was dropping from 1.45v (which i now its insanely high for that clock speed) to 0.7v and it kept happening, it also happend a couple of time for my gpu (Sea Hawk 1070) as well,it was droppin from 90-100% power to 50-65%. Althought when i checked HW monitor the voltages didnt seem to go below what they were supposed to (the 12v, 3,3v,5v...).i dont think this was happening b4 with my old psu, uncertified 600w.
And i was wonderin why do i get so big voltages at this small clocks (4,5ghz-4.6ghz im gettin 1.45v). im usin an asus z170a motherboard. is the chipset the problem or what, should i set the voltage to 1.35v my self? i really dont know what to do with. please help
