H80i - Can't Tell if Pump is on or Not?

Normally I would be able to answer this and wouldn't have to come here, but considering my situation, I feel like this would be easier.

I'm running a test start for the H80i on just a PSU with a jumper. I don't feel like hooking it all up to this PC, so that's why I'm asking this lol. I can't tell if the pump is on, since I have no software or BIOS to tell me. I can't really hear much with the fans on and my other PC running. I felt the tubes and it didn't feel very pressurized. I even gently shook the radiator and I could hear the water slosh around as if it were stationary.

The connected fans work, and the LED on the CPU block is on. The only thing that isn't plugged in is the USB cable from the block to the mobo, and the main cpu fan cord. Not sure if that would be the issue considering I have the Power Sata plugged in, unless that's strictly for the two fans' power. What does the USB one even do then?

First time using an integrated cooler, sorry lol.

Solution
You control the fans via USB. If you look closely at the fan cable that attaches to your board you'll see it only has the 3rd wire in, the sense wire. All it does is tell the CPU theres a CPU fan installed so it boots. You set the actual speeds via the USB cable using Corsair Link.

PS, I wouldnt slosh it around too much.

The USB cable to the H80i only reads telemetry/data. It does not supply power. Only the SATA plug provides power. The rest is for fan control and Corsair Link integration.

The easiest way for me to tell if the pump was working was to put my ear on it. If you can't hear/feel it, it's not spinning. If it's in a small case, you can put the pointy end of a screwdriver (or chopstick) against the block, and the other end against your ear (don't stab yourself). Again, if there's no vibration, it's not running. I have yet to find an AIO that requires all the data feeds plugged in to actually run.

Try plug some fans into the power supply (molex adapters, breadboard the motherboard, idk). If the fans spin but the water block is dead silent, I'd assume either the sata power plug is bad, or the block is bad.
