I just got done building a pc and found out that for some odd reason the wireless mouse and keyboard i have dont work but the wired one does?!? The wireless works in the bios but not on windows 10. I have tried installing drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them, updating bios, and cant seem to figure it out from other forum posts with similar issues. I know the m and k work because they work on my laptop. I have tried on all usb 3.0 and 2.0 ports and know the usb works because like i said my wired mouse works in every slot i have tried.

does anyone have any ideas or had a similar problem?

My Build:

Intel Core i5-6600k 3.5ghz Quad Core
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Crutial Ballistix Sport LT 8gb
EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

Thanks, Chris

I tried to use intel's driver update utility but it tells me no drivers are detected but doesn't recommend any. I have the i5 6600k LGA 1151. When i go to the device manager to try to update it tells me its up to date. I can't seem to find just a regular download for my chip.

Sorry for the late response, life got busy

ok i reinstalled all the drivers from the website including the chipset drivers (basically updating from the drivers the disk installed) and after the required restart it still doesn't work
