Hey guys! I have a desktop with these specs:
gigabyte gtx 960 4gb
i3 4170 box
8gb ram
motherboard GA-H81M-H

Since i bought these computer i always played cs:go, and always with 250+ stable fps. (1280x1024 low settings for competitive play).
Since a month ago im getting around 120fps and sometimes it drops below 100, which for competitive cs go is horrible.
The other games i play are still with the same performance i always had. (witcher 3 45-60fps high settings, MGSV stable 60 all high, the division 45-60 medium etc).

MSI Afterburner at cs:go:
GPU usage ~30%
GPU core clock 1126mhz
GPU temperature 30~40ºC

CPU usage 70~100%
CPU temperature 70-75ºC

All my drivers are updated, and there wasnt an update between the time the game was running fine and when it had low fps.
I already checked all the options on nvidia settings (shader cache, vsync, aa, energy management etc)

Is my CPU suddenly bottlenecking my gpu? :(
Anyone knows what is happening?
Thanks for the help!! :)

UPDATE:
I tought my CPU was too hot, so i cleaned it up, and after that msi afterburner showed CPU temperature 60-65ºC but with the same performance ingame :/

No, 75hz monitor unfortunately, but willing to get a 144hz monitor soon

I tought it was some update valve did, but i checked with all my friends with similar GPU and CPU, and they still get good framerates, all >200+ stable

Good to hear that. Probably Valve did some stupid update which dropped your fps. Don't know what else it could be.

I'm sure they will. Maybe I'll check CS:GO on my PC during the weekend and I'll tell you how my fps is :)
