So at the moment my specs are

Amd a10 8780p
12 gb ddr3 1600 mhz ram
amd radeon r7 m360 2 gb vram

so the igpu of the amd a10 and the r7 m360 work together in crossfire.

so my question is that if i downgrade to 8gb ram but upgrade to 2133 will i see a performance increase since im using a discrete gpu as well as the igpu? If i will see performance increase is it worth the $6p that the ram is. Thanks for the help

Solution
Yes, but only if the laptop allows the RAM to run at the proper speed. You can certainly try it, and return the RAM if it doesn't work.
Since this is a notebook, there's a chance you won't be able to use the higher RAM frequency. I'd check your BIOS to make sure you have control of that before considering buying anything.

EDIT: But yes, 8GB of 2133 will probably be better than 12GB of 1600 in most cases.

Yes, you will see a boost in FPS with most games if you swap out the old 1600mhz ram for the 2133mhz ram.
