Hello,

I've read that CPUTIN is the MotherBoard temp but I'm confused why this is high at idle. (50C)

I have run these different monitoring separately before running them both since they have the same results for your easy viewing.

I tried to open my case and blast fan directly and I can see 5C lower on CPUTIN and TMPIN3. I guess I need to clean my fans or add more but it is currently fine for me on the temp.

Anyway, my question is... Why is CPUTIN and TMPIN3 higher than my other temps on the motherboard? Is this normal? If yes, what makes them different than the others parts in the mobo?

P.S. An additional question... does adding more in than out case fan viable to get lower temp or do I need to balance it out? Because I want to just add 1 AF Fan if I decide to buy my friend's extra fan.

This is just a guess, but it seems like it's reading a different sensor. Your core temps are fine, and that's what you should really trust, anyway.

As far as what it could be, it could be the VRM's or the chipset, or maybe even nothing at all. But usually, if you see a temp that doesn't really make sense, it just the program not reading the right sensor.

Bumping this up. Not an urgent issue but very well curious why it is higher than other parts of mobo.

I've tried HWMonitor, Open Hardware, and Corsair Link temp monitor.
