So , me and my friend have the same CPU and SAME heatsink , yet , on prime95 , his cpu is stable for 10 minutes on 45C , and mine in the space of 2 minutes , spikes to 75C , on games like Battlefield 1 and Rainbow Six Siege or other CPU heavy games , the pc simply shut itself down because of the temperature , I tried another thermal paste (Silver Artic 5) but the difference is barely noticable , only shutting down 30 min later than usual * . My last cpu which was a downgrade of this one obviously , ran the same games without any overheating issues , more performance troubles on the game tho since it was less ''new and performing'' , but yeah , I need your help people. I'll give you screenshots and statistics if needed.
