So one day my computer stopped working and It wouldn't turn on at all so I took it to microcenter to get them to run a diagnostics test and they told me my mobo was dead and I paid them to install a new one. Then they called me and told me there was also something wrong with the power button on the case and the technician fixed it. For about a week my computer has been working fine, but recently, my computer would randomly just shutdown for about three seconds and turn back on, on its own. So far, I belive this only happens when I'm playing games. This has only happened 5 times so far. the first two times happened one day then the next day, then the next 3 times it started happening all in one day. My CPU temp and GPU temp are normal. but I noticed my psu fans aren't running. I have the EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply. I'm not sure if this psu fan only goes on at a certain temp or if its supposed to run all the time. Should I be worried? Is there any way I can fix this on my own? I really dont want to have to go back to microcenter agian and pay for them to run another test.

If your temps are okay then only thing that can shut down your PC is the power failure inside your PSU.

As far as PSU fan not turning, your PSU has EVGA ECO mode in it.
Taken from EVGA site: "EVGA ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System elminates fan noise at low to medium loads."
That means when load on your PSU is 30% to 50%, PSU's FD bearing fan won't turn at all.
specs of your PSU: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=210-GQ-0750-V1#

Btw, your 750W PSU is too much for your PC, you can do just fine with 500W PSU. Your GPU peaks at about 153W and the rest of the system consumes about 146W. Total system usage would be 300W.

I can't confirm the build quality of your PSU but looking on how it acts, i'd say you have mediocre...

I'd switch out the PSU for a good quality Seasonic G-550.
specs: https://seasonic.com/product/g-550/
pcpp: http://pcpartpicker.com/product/DPCwrH/seasonic-power-supply-ssr550rm

Seasonic G-550 is also 80+ Gold certified, it's semi-modular, has FD bearing fan but has MTBF of 150.000 hours compared to the EVGA's MTBF of 100.000 hours. (MTBF = Mean Time Between Failures. The higher the MTBF, the longer PSU will last.)

All my 3 PCs: Skylake, Haswell and AMD are also powered by Seasonic. (Got PRIME series in Skylake, M12II EVO series in Haswell and S12II series in AMD. Full specs in my sig.)
