Okay, so this is a very weird issue i'm having today. So i'm overclocking and I'm a newbie but i picked up a full guide and read it all. I got to be stable on 4200 megahertz, so I go up to 4400 megahertz to see that in CPU z my CPU says Core speed 4200 Megahertz multiplier x 42.0 but it says ( 8 - 44 ) and I assumes that's because I put 44 gigahertz in the bios. I have my power settings on 100% min to 100% full so I should be getting 4400 megahertz, I am really super confused in this situation. My motherboard is a gigabyte z97x sli I can provide more info or more specs if needed and I'm really desperate to get this going so thanks in the long run.
