Hi guys, I need help. I recently bought new SSD and I try to install Windows 7 to it using a USB. When I'm going to install in the ssd drive an error pop up and said.

"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu." (to be exact)

-I already disabled any UEFI settings and set it to Legacy
-I already set AHCI
-I already performed the diskpart but same thing happens everytime I try to reinstall.

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Using the Windows partition management while in the installer, delete any available partitions, and then create a new one. Format it just in case. It should actually make a couple of them, one a big empty partition, and one about 100MB in size for install files and file swap.

Personally I would keep UEFI instead of legacy bios, but it shouldnt matter much.
