Okay so, recently I have wanting to start youtube, I have everything, decent PC, mic, but okay, heres basically the question

When I record, say with any recording software, and even audacity, I can hear a soft buzzing, I have used noise reduction on audacity, but you can still hear it a tiny tiny bit, I want it to be like pitch quiet, where if im not talking you will not hear anything.

I know its not the mic, because I unplugged the mic from the amp that goes to my computer, and you can still hear it, so I just left my amp umplugged and plugged the mic straight into my pc, the buzzing went down a little, but I can still hear it. Is this a problem that cant be fixed? Like is it just the I guess.. "electricity"?? Idk what to call it, again, I know its not my mic though because like I said I unplugged it and I could still hear it

What would you recommend?

Does your buzzing sound like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbRmor_9PZk

I had the same thing when I was using a 3.5mm jack headset, I didn't get this buzzing with my GTX 970, it started when I got my GTX 980 so I'm going to assume that my GPU is causing the interference.

I now have a USB headset with a built in soundcard and the buzzing has stopped.

One way to test if it is going into your recording through your mic is to disable mic recording on your recording software, even if you have tried unplugging your mic. My buzzing wouldn't go away until I disabled recording of the mic.

I hope this helps in some way.

Well, it sounds a lot more quieter, a lot lower pitch too.

The pitch and volume changes with framerate (for me anyway), is it the same kind of noise but at a lower pitch?

It sorta is the same, but the same pitch constantly, like never changes, but it isnt framerate... For example ill use audacity, ill hear the noise, its a low buzzing, Ive recorded audio on different recording things also like bandicam, it also had the buzzing, I havent tried talking to someone on skype yet though to see if they hear it

That's odd, let me know if you test that
