Hey I currently own a 4:3 ratio monitor (yes a square), and I'm about to mount my PC into a TV.
That TV has 1366x768 res, 16:9 ratio progressive scan too. So it is good to record games with it ?
So it won't record in 1080p for youtube nor can I stream in full hd?
No, you can't. Best you'll be able to do for YouTube and streaming is 720p.
That said, if your graphics hardware is good enough, you can play at 1080p DSR or VSR, and that should also clean up the look of the 720p output a bit.
The only way you'll be able to play at an effective 1080p output is if you use Nvidia's DSR, or AMD's VSR, because you're TV's native res is well below 1080p.
So it won't record in 1080p for youtube nor can I stream in full hd?
