I have a rx 480 msi gaming x and a msi h110m gaming motherboard how do i prevent the card from sagging in its slot as its very heavy and also is it dangerous for the motherboard(eg a pci slot being ripped out). currently im using legos to prop it up but im worried they will move due to vibration from the graphics cards fan as they arent taped down or anything

i live in the uk so there is basically no options to buy braces so would the lego work or would it vibrate and fall out of place

Find something, anything, to sit under the GPU so it is horizontal. You could use lego and maybe a piece of blue tack to stop it moving out of place, or if that doesnt work, some sewing string, tie it on a stable part of the gpu (not near the components, maybe on the fan bracket) then tie it to the top of your case, supporting it.

Is blu tax conductive cos it would sit on top of my drive cage then be stuck to lego that would be touching my gpu. Would this work or create static

Blue tacvk wont create static but is a last option I wouldnt use it. String is probably the best option to go for.

It seems braces not being shipped to UK seem to be a general trend. The one I linked to seems to though. (or claims it does if i change shipping address)

but yes, also searching for them (now that I know they are not widely available in UK) seems to show that lego products are quite popular.

also since the design of said braces is quite simple, you could just buy acrylic sheet and cut one out of it yourself if you are in DIY mood.

im planning on making a wood one with some help form my dad would that work

I see no real reason why it couldn't, especially if it's vertical stick from bottom of case.

If it is horizontal like the sold braces, it might crack if it's made of wood. (thin wood isn't generally all that sturdy) but... it could hold, no way to know before trying.
