I have an older Mac that I still need for certain software. My monitor however is on it's last legs. I would like to get a monitor that I can use both on that system and then a newer system at another date. The Monitor is LG 29UM68-P. The graphics card is an EVGA GTX 680 Mac Edition. It says max resolution is 2560 x1600 but only through the DVI Dual link port. So leaves me questioning what the max resolution is through the Display Port 1.1.
