how do i update my motherboard bios? i dont know how you update your motherboard and its really confusing. do i install my dick ??? that came with the motherboard since its a really recent motherboard or not? i have no idea and if you can help, that would be fantastic. also talking about this topic, is there any trust worthy driver update tools that detect what drivers need updating? thanks.

There may be a splash screen(LOGO) where the normal boot screen is, if so that's where you press Delete(my Asus Z68 uses delete). If it's using Window's Quick Boot, I have no idea how to disable it. But a restart/reboot from Windows may bypass it.

As to EZ Flash, Page 93(in your PDF Reader, the manual page is 3-27) of this manual(you still haven't mentioned the actual version you have) explains it. It mentions it now supports Downloading from the Internet in EZ Flash 3, I'd personally just format a flash drive(4gb or smaller) to FAT and put the bios file and nothing else it and use the USB method.

You may want to edit that.

As to the question, Asus has EZ Flash, you use a usb flash drive and put the bios file on it, boot to bios and find the EZ Flash option in the UEFI. It usually needs to be formatted to FAT or FAT32 prior to attempting the update. Ive had issues with FAT32 drives working even though it says its supported. FAT16(usually just FAT) worked everytime.

As to drivers, find your boards page on the Asus site, go to drivers and downloads via the Support tab. You'll find any bios updates there as well.

With your board being so new, there likely aren't many if any updates other than launch drivers/bios.

Find your board on this page and select "Learn more"

I pointed that out as well. Its a simple typo I've made whilst typing disc/disk uncountable times but is always caught before I move on.
