Hello,

I am planning to upgrade my GTX 560 Ti to something that has roughly the performance of GTX 1060 and is completely silent when idle or at low loads (fans not spinning). I also require G‑Sync support.

Unfortunely, MSI Zero Frozr 1060 cards (Gaming and Armor series) are too long for my case. About 25 cm (or 9.8'') is the maximum length that I can have.

Right now I only know MSI 1050 Ti Gaming, which has Zero Frozr but falls a little bit short of the performance I was looking for.

I am happy to hear your recommendations. Thanks.

G-sync means you want Nvidia's card and let it be GTX 1060. You may want to take a look here:

If you scroll down to about a middle you will see a long answer describing all the GTX 1060 editions and their cooling systems.

Short answer: the guy in the article above says "MSI Gaming (X) is the by FAR quietest. No Competition."

MSI Gaming X comes out in front as far as quiet(er) cooling is concerned. This is from anecdotal evidence https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/4uuqz7/quietest_and_coolest_1060/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/4uuqz7/quietest_and_coolest_1060/ and you can peruse reviews written that include acoustic testing http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=69330&p=602368 . MSI Afterburner can help close performance gaps. The coolest one is the one you build yourself. Water cooling. Better yet? Have you ever seen a wooden electrical pole support?

You look at the top and see this big metal cylinder. That is filled with mineral oil. Buy an aquarium. Fill said aquarium with mineral oil. Build and install PC in said mineral oil. Enuf said.

As far as tiny Zotac 1060 mini comes to mind. As far as quiet. I am not sure. Sorry I couldn't of been more help.
