So for Christmas I bought a MSI armour Nvidia Gtx 1070 I hooked it up to my PC using an 8 pin and started my PC up deleted my old drivers and installed the new one ever since I did this and played games they frequently crash with 5-10 mins game time sometimes it even bluescreens, is this the computers fault or the new graphics card?

Spec:
I7 4770
Asrock H97M Pro 4
MSI Armour Nvidia GTX 1070
Corsair 650W

Solution

There is your Problem. 85 degrees is a highly insane temp. You should download msi after burner and put a custom fan curve / make a manual fan speed to 100%

It could be many many things. You are not being specifiq enough.
For now i will ask you the following:
-What temps are you having on that card?
-Are you using windows 7 or 10 ?
-What card do you had before that one?
-What games are you playing ? and what resolutions you are managing ?

-H1Z1 King of the hill and Miscreated.
-1920x1080
