Just wanting to know if an EVGA 500w PSU would be fine or if I should pay 30 bucks more for a Seasonic 80+ GOLD 550w power supply. I'm absolutely terrified about spending too little on the PSU and apparently people have been having issues with the EVGA 500w PSU randomly failing after only a few months of operation.

I just did a power supply calculation and the recommended wattage is 616w (The case I picked has 5 fans on a fan controller hub, two USB 2.0 ports, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a built-in card reader). I found a Corsair CX750 750w power supply for the same cost as the SEASONIC 550w. From what I've read on newegg this one seems pretty good, more positive than negative reviews (50% of the reviews are 5 star, only 19% are one star). Again I'm scared of getting a bad-quality PSU since this is my first computer build.
