I just built my first pc and was very happy about it. It turned it on and was working well. On the second day of use, by chance, I looked at task manager because I wanted to see how my pc was holding up. I suddenly saw that there was 2.2 gb. I was very surprised and had no idea what was going on. I updated my bios and everything. I swapped the position of my RAM sticks. I checked off limited ram in the boot tab. It just does not want to change. The RAM sticks I am using are 2x8gb G. Skill Trident Z at 3000mhz. please help, I have no idea what to do. :(

Well yes if you want windows to make use of more than 4gb of memory. A 32bit version of windows will only use 4gb of memory total including any VRAM in your gpu, so thats 2GB of VRAM for your GPU and 2GB of system ram, a 32bit OS cannot make use of anymore than that. To get access to all of your 16gb's of ram you will need a 64bit OS.

What are you saying? In task manger it shows 2.2gb in use of 16? Yeah that's normal, the OS is not going to use all of your 16gb of ram nor would you want it to. Here is a screenshot of my task manger with 8gb installed, im using 2.8 out of 7.9gb, yours should say 2.2gb out of 16gb or close to it.
