So i Just bought these and put them together. And it is slow like an old PC runing gta V. Specs are i7 6700k on a krait gaming 3x ddr 4 16gb 2400mhz RAM and a gtx 960. Hdd is a seagate 1tb 7200rpm. Disk runs at 100% and the PC is slow, like Really slow.

Disk runs at 100%? Am assuming it's a SATA III disk.. is it just GTA V using 100% of the process in Task Manager or are other processes running too? You could need an SSD or just have a faulty HDD maybe.

A GTX 960 will be limited in games like that, and it depends what you define as slow. Stuttering or just low fps?

It sutters even without any game or software Open. I turn it on, leave it and disk is 100%... And now after login on Windows USB devices go off. Not even with safe Mode.

I cant use my USB devices after Windows logs in. So ill format once again and try that. By the way, my RAm is a 2400mhz, yet the PC showed only 2133mhz, could be that?

Were the processes ordered by disk usage?

No, until you enable XMP in your BIOS your RAM will run at the default 2133MHz. Is best you leave it at that until you get to the bottom of your problem. Check your disk processes as suggested above, and run some diagnostics on your system files and HDD with the links I posted.

yep, it showed exactly like that, disk at 100% and the rest was using nothing but like 5% all together.

..but see that pic KO888 posted has the processes under disk listed by usage. In that case the search indexer is using the disk. Is easier if you right click at the top of the column and choose Disk Resource Values to display as a percentage, but you need to check whats using 100% of the disk either way.
