Please suggest a motherboard for this gaming build..

The PC will be for 1080p gaming. The motherboard I chose is micro but maybe there's a better choice you experts could recommend. Please suggest any other improvements that come to mind. I'm pretty much maxed out on budget so there's not much wiggle room price wise. I'm buying in Canada so price is in CAD. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll recommend you this mobo

Reason- Z270 is latest chipset and as your CPU is unlocked (K) then always go with Z series for better overclocking
otherwise it's a nice build

and for 1080p gaming I think 1070 is overkill, better go with 1060 6gb

Hi.. Since you wanted some constructive criticism

That cooler isn't great, the PSU is budget, you need a z270 board for a k series chip and RAM over 2133MHz, that's not the best 1070 around and you'll need to make sure it fits in that mid-tower case.

Thanks! What if I switch to the mobo Dronzer suggested, then change RAM and drop down to a 1060? I need to keep the overall price point the same. Would you have recommendations for good RAM and decent 1060? Really appreciate your input.

I personally using MSI GTX 1060 gaming X 6gb..really good card, Factory overclocked, 60-65 C during gaming.
you can also go with brands like Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, etc. but double check the maximum length of GPU that supported by your case otherwise go with mini version of EVGA 1060
