MOBO: MSI 970A-G43
GPU: MSI RX 480 8GB
CPU: AMD FX 9370
PSU: Corsair CX 750w
8GB RAM

So recently I got a new processor (AMD FX 9370) and Ive noticed no improvements at all in terms of performance. In fact, my experiences have been mainly lower and unstable FPS. Before I was using a AMD FX 6300, and it worked fine. Ive got an MSI 970A-G43, and my friends suggest that its my motherboard thats causing the problem ( apparently it cant send information fast enough or something) Is it true that this motherboard isnt good enough for this card, and that it could be worsening my experience?

Solution
^ honestly surprised it even runs on it!!
The g43 is easily the worst quality amd 970 board ever made - these things have been known to catch fire with an 8320/8350 installed.
A 6 core 6300 is their limit IMO.

You're looking $130+ for a board that can safely run that CPU
Its not that the motherboard cant keep up, it cant keep it powered.
The 9xxx series is not supported on that board: Warning: This MB doesn’t support 200W or above CPU.

I would recommend selling it and buying a proper processor (whether it be an 8xxx series and OC (not much of an upgrade) or move to intel)

Are there currently any motherboards that support AM4 right now?

Not that I know of but they are useless until the CPU's launch. I expect they will launch at the same time.
