Guys, i recently sold my fx 8350 and 970 ds3 board(not oced).main reason for selling was when i play games my ups (360w) shutdown and restart frequently(for some high end games due to full load.*psu cm 650*).
And also the common cause of electricity bill.so i actually bought a i5 4570 and gigabyte h81-ms1.yes i am using cm hyper x 212 plus.yes i am having 8 gigs hyper x + 4 gigs gskill( 1600 both).so my question is was this upgradation worth it.will this make any better.gpu is GTX 660 ti(over clocked).
Pls be CAREFULL
Guys that all of my question are pointing towards the interest in GAMING ONLY.kindly waiting for your honest suggestions.

Solution
I'm talking about 1050Ti

as you can see, it performs the same or better at half the power consumption (less heat, less noise, less load on PSU)

your comment about the electricity bill is interesting. If you want to push a system with big monitors and high output you're going to pay. Yes things have gotten a lot more energy efficient, but I doubt you will see a lot of dollars come off your bill.

it depends.
if all you were to do is gaming with cards below GTX 1060/RX 480, than you could stay with that CPU if you could overclock it above 4GHz.
for the long run (3-5) years, i5 is a good choice. with GPU like GTX 1060 or 1070 and even 1080, total system power draw is below 250watt while gaming.
So your UPS (hope not PSU) should be fine.

Don't know what your budget and what the pricing in your country.
Best value for good gaming would be RX 470 4GB.
Cheapest that would be an upgrade is GTX 1050Ti - a bit more performance than GTX 680.
If you can afford it, RX 480 4GB, GTX 1060 6GB and RX 480 8GB (in that order) are excellent cards for 1080p gaming
