Hi. I tried overclocking my i5 4690k to 4ghz.
Set the vcore to 1.100, and the multiplier to 40.
Disabled turbo boost and EIST.
I'm using a stock cooler, and my max temp is 68c.
Is this normal? I know the stock cooler is bad at cooling an overclocked cpu, but this one is just very unusual.
My motherboard is Z87X-OC.
I live in a tropical country, so the weather here is on the warmer side.
I tried to use different software just to see if the readings are different, but they show the same.
I'm really surprised about this.
