Solution
I've been using the 212 EVO for a long time, on multiple builds and I overclock them all with no temp issues. It is true that SOME water cooling solutions will work better, but they cost a hell of a lot more than comparable air coolers. Then with watercooling you have to worry about leaks, the liquid evaporating, and pump failing, not to mention they can be louder than air coolers. I personally avoid water cooling because of those issues and also if the watercooling fails, there is NO cooling taking place, but if the fan fails on an air cooler, there is some, albeit not a lot, of cooling happening because the heatsink is still pulling heat away from the CPU.
