As I know, the GTX 1080 is stronger than GTX980. I use it for 3DMax rendering. I bought the 1080 about 5 months earlier to use it to 3Dmax iray rendering. But the engine dose not support Pascal GPU's.
So, do you think the better is to replace 1080 with 980Ti to be useful in iray rendering.
