It's an Optiplex 3010 SFF that Dell says takes dw1530 PCIe WLAN card and the expansion slots are PCIe x1 (& 16.) So do I put the wlan card into an Wireless PCI-E to PCI-E Express X1 Adapter card, and if so is this my best option, especially as it has the new Windows 10 Pro 64 which I've been reading can give some old wireless cards trouble. Is there a better pcie wlan card I can use or even a complete PCIe x1 wifi card that I won't have to add the extra wlan card into, that'll work best with windows 10? (Dell also states DW1540 card.) From what I've gathered it seems like I put the half card into the adapter, if this is the case does anyone know the best half card for use with windows 10? And is there a complete pciex1 card that I won't have to add the half card that'd be better? Thanks, this is completely new to me.

I went ahead and bought the tplink (N150) and it was plug and play. Mainly I got this one is because affordable 2 antenna adapters are shipped China and would've been a month.
I'd still like to know is adapters like the tplink are superior to pcie mini half cards. I've heard the half cards like in laptops are superior, and Dell has those down for wireless on the spec sheet for my SFF desktop? I wouldn't mind ordering the 2 antenna pciex1 adapter and pairing it with the dw1540 half card if that would be better.
