I'm using an old monitor which uses VGA connector and i have Rx 480 graphics card. I learned that i need a adaptor to use these together and i bought a HDMI to VGA adaptor. But there is a problem with some games. Some games are too dark especially in the shadows. I was playing The Witcher 3 when i saw this problem especially. Even if i change the gamma settings to the rigth max the wolf symbol doesn't show up.
I learned later that if i change RGB FULL to RGB LİMİTED in the graphics card settings the symbol shows up. But this time monitor's overall quality decreases. I read somewhere that this is because of HDMI output. What i want to ask is if i change to DP to VGA or DVI-D to VGA will this problem go away or is there another way to solve this differently?
