Trouble with no video card signal on startup

I recently installed a new power supply ( EVGA SuperNOVA 850) and a new graphics card (EVGA GTX1070 FTW). I installed into my mobo (ASRock Z68 Pro3), and have had no problems for some time.

However, I've run into an issue where I no longer receive video signal from any outputs on the 1070 on startup (Windows 10), only through the mobo. I often have to restart several times in order to get it to output something.

All the graphics drivers are updated, however my BIOS is pretty outdated (AMI p1.2 from 2011). I installed Windows 10 on legacy bios mode, and don't have access to UEFI through the Update and Security feature of Windows.

Any help sorting out the issue would be appreciated

Have you tried going into BIOS and checking that the graphics card (PEG) is selected as the initial display adapter, not the integrated graphics (iGPU)?

If you cant access BIOS, try clearing the CMOS by removing coin cell battery when power is disconnected. That'll reset your BIOS settings.

I cleared the CMOS following the mother board manual, and that reset it. I was able to access the UEFI afterwards, and made the changes. Thanks for the help!
