Hi, my current PC is using the stock AMD cooler and is very loud. I was think of investing in a new cooler, can anyone recommend one that will fit and be relatively quiet and effective? and how difficult will it be to change the fan for someone will little PC building experience?

PC specs:
Case - Gamemax Falcom
Mobo - Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3
CPU - AMD FX-8300
GPU - Zotac geforce GTX 1060 3gb
Power Supply - Intergrator 500W

The Deepcool Gammax is a good budget cooler and it should fit in that case.

I'm not 100% on the installtion of that particular cooler on the FX chips, it might require you to remove the motherboard and install a backplate. Overall a CPU cooler installation can be tricky, but it is possible for anyone with little to no experience. There are lots of guides and videos on how to install coolers.

I personally hate the tall and huge custom heat sinks out there, so I went with the GeminII M4. Slim profile but still excellently cools. I have the same CPU and I can hardly hear my CPU fan underload. Just be cautious that if you have tall RAM heat spreaders, this heat-sink might be an issue.

Furthermore, it was pretty simple to install. There are a ton of videos on youtube to help you decide and install.
