MSI 980ti Lightning fans won't turn off when idle and temps are norm (30-40C)

Hello guys!

I just bought an MSI 980ti Lightning, and it is awesome!

But I have a problem with the fans:

When the GPU is idle they are really silent (with a temp of around 40c), and as one would expect they turn louder under load with the higher temps (65-70c, it is really hot in my room, around 30c).

The thing is that once I stop loading the gpu (gaming or rendering something), and the temps drop to normal, the fans refuse to turn off! They keep working as under load! The temps drop to 30c, but the noise is unbearable.

I noticed that the Afterburn monitor shows that fan speed is 0%, but they're actually still working in the 30-40% range of the loaded state. Also the monitor tachometer isn't showing the fans speed.

I tried to update Afterburn, tried changing the fans to manual mode and lowering their speed%, changing the user profile.

Turning off/on the computer fixes it. Restarting not.

The card might be faulty.

Try going to Bios and changing the Fans Control mode to Volt and not RPM.

Updating drivers.

Sorry mate dont know what else.
